Electronic nature _"*-*''_
My attempt was to recreate the soothing sounds of nature through a machine driven sound design. I took a picture of trees outside my window. Inputted these visuals into an AI system to craft a captivating journey. The process of generating sounds involved layers of processing resulting in a visual experience that blends the natural essence of nature, with modern technology. By using AI to replicate natures sights and sounds it has the potential to evoke sensory reactions in people fostering a form of connection or engagement, between viewers and the artwork.
Maritime 23 "Skip This Ad"
This music piece was created from the concept of transforming typical online advertising spaces into showcases for art and music. Instead of traditional ads, viewers are treated to brief, imaginative videos that evoke a sense of tranquility and beauty reminiscent of nature. The intention is to offer everyone a brief respite from the usual advertising content and allow them to savor moments of creativity. It's all about pausing for a moment and appreciating the beauty amidst our hectic online routines.
I don't own the video, I just like it. and got inspired to create this piece of music.
Flattened
I created a multimedia project called 'Flattened' that features field recordings I gathered on my trip through Europe in 2016. Looking back on those days, my recollections are a bit fuzzy because of the busy pace of life back then. Through this visual display and the sounds that accompany it, I aim to capture the vivid thoughts and emotions that filled my mind during that period.

Development Process:
The journey of creating "Transient" involved long jamming sessions, introspective reflections, and research into the thematic elements of ambient music. It was a phase of exploration, focusing on the central themes of impermanence and transience. Inspired by great sound makers such as Eivind Aarset, a Norwegian guitarist, and Ómar Guðjónsson from ADHD, an Icelandic band, and many others, I want to add my mark to this world by recording long-form pieces of music.
Conception to Realization:
The inspiration behind "Transient" came from a desire to express the concept of transformation through music. It all began with times of self-reflection, diving into my journey as an artist switching between genres and instruments. These reflections served as the foundation for creating the EP. By incorporating themes of impermanence into both the narrative and musical landscapes of "Transient," I aim to produce a collection that resonates with listeners, prompting them to reflect on and contemplate life's core aspects.
Composition and Arrangement:
The EP consists of three crafted tracks each showcasing a blend of guitar sounds processed through various effects adjusted on the spot. This method of creation gives each song its identity allowing for an experimental exploration of tone and texture.
The track arrangement was thoughtfully curated, with each title chosen to complement the journey of the EP.
Exploration and Development:
Influenced by an focused style the creation process of "Transient" evolved through various stages of writing, production and enhancement. The technical aspects and artistic inspiration blended smoothly as different sound elements were carefully developed to create an reflective atmosphere. By avoiding fixed compositions, beats or organized melody allowed for a fluid listening experience, rewarding both passive and active engagement.
Technical Challenges and Solutions:
The precise skill required for playing the guitar and adjust the effects while recording in "Transient" presented a challenge. Each note had to be played with care and precision to capture the desired mood for the EP. To tackle this challenge I made changes to my routine focusing on simplicity and removing distractions to stay concentrated during each recording sessions.
Alongside lifestyle adjustments I explored techniques and tools to elevate the project. Trying out different effects chains and signal processing techniques added depth to the sound palette complementing the simple guitar melodies. These approaches helped me overcome hurdles striking a balance, between creating a rich atmosphere and maintaining clarity in the final recordings.
Post-production
The "Transient" post-production phase was easy since all the previous steps made it easier to mix and master the tracks that were already processed during the recording phase all that was needed were some small adjustments and creating an artwork that suited the vibe and served the visual identity,
The Public Presentation:
The public presentation of "Transient" occurred on May 2nd at "Hošek Contemporary" in Berlin where I collaborated with other talented artists sharing similar visions and styles. The venue, a boat repurposed as a creative space, perfectly suited the concept. Visuals were integrated from a royalty-free website to enhance the live experience.
I was lucky to be surrounded by loving, supportive people to make this happen. The feedback, reactions, and vibe I gained from the audience were, and always will be, a blessing.
